OUR STORY
Renaissance Home Renovations was born from a lifelong passion for craftsmanship.
At eight years old, I asked for a scroll saw for my birthday after watching men at church create wooden crafts. Soon, I was cutting Bible figures for Sunday school vignettes, selling small pieces to Boy Scout groups, and setting up “wood sales” at the end of my driveway in White Oak. Every dollar I earned went into better tools, and by age twelve, my work was being used in five countries.
After graduating from the University of Tennessee, I managed a Sherwin-Williams store in Nashville, where delivering paint to job sites turned into on-the-job lessons from seasoned tradesmen. I bought and renovated my first home shortly after, and by the time I returned to Cincinnati in 2006, I was hooked on the world of renovations. While earning my MBA at Miami University, I began buying rental properties in Norwood—learning firsthand the challenges and rewards of restoring older homes.
What started as one person learning each trade eventually grew into a team and a business. Over the last 22 years, I’ve renovated more than 200 homes and apartments, sharpening not just my skills but my vision for what a renovation company should be: a team rooted in craftsmanship, honesty, and care for each project.
Today, Renaissance Home Renovations creates inspired living spaces—kitchens, bathrooms, basements, outdoor areas, and builds full home additions and custom home builds that families can truly enjoy.
